Today I am thankful for kind words.
I know; this is very generic. However, I spoke with several people today who had kind words to share. Personally, I had three people tell me I had on a cute outfit. I'm no fashionista, so it's always nice to know my clothes match and even better when they look decent (ha). But, on a more serious note, I spoke with several guys (pilots that called in) who expressed their appreciation for the help that my co-worker and I provide.
Overall, these were pretty insignificant comments, but it just goes to show that a simple kind word may mean the world to another person. They made a difference to me today.
