IT'S TIME TO CATCH UP ON THE BLOGGING

I'm a bit behind on my blogging this week. Mainly because allergies have consumed my life this week. But, things got better towards the end of the week. Yesterday, I went to my cousin's t-ball game. Here's the great (and sometimes frustrating) thing about t-ball: 1) nobody really ever gets out, 2) there are about 10 kids and 4 coaches out on the field at the same time, and 3) half the kids aren't even paying attention to what's going on in the game. Ha, I love it! And, my man Jake is one cute t-ball player.

Oh yea, he gets that game face from his daddy. Let me just say...it was HOT out there. This is June and the temps here in TN are averaging high 80's/low 90's. I don't even want to think about what July and August are going to feel like. Here's another cute pic from the t-ball game:
After the t-ball game, the family went to J. Alexander's for a Father's Day dinner. My Pops is going to be in Mexico on Pop's Day so we celebrated early. I had an excellent steak and loaded baked potato...yummy! If you think about it, say a special prayer for my pops and the other team members going to Hogar Montana this next week. They're going on a mission trip, and I'm sure they would appreciate your prayers.

On a totally different note, I'm deeply saddened to hear about the death of Tim Russert. He was my absolute favorite political commentator. I've spent many Sunday mornings watching Meet the Press and I get ready for church. That show will never be the same.
