Saturday I didn't do much, except take it easy. Don't you just love Saturdays with no agenda and time to just relax? I realize these can be kinda boring sometimes, but they are nice every once in a while. I went to dinner with my friends Kristi and Jacob last night at Stix. Stix is one of those hibachi restaurants where they cook your food in front of you. It was yummy.
I was feeling adventurous when I got home from dinner so I attempted to hang my flag holder. I tried this once before, but the screws were old and the flag and holder blew off the house after the first windy day. This time I used 4 brand new heavy duty screws. So far, the flag is still hanging!!
Here's what it would look like, if the wind was blowing:
Well, the flag looks good, but I should not have spent that long outside. Lately, I can't even go outside without my allergies going crazy. This morning I woke up so congested and stopped up that I couldn't even make it to church. After a long, hot shower (with lots of steam and a shower soother) and pretty long nap, I started feeling a little better. I joined my mom for supper, and we ate at Sekisui. Wow, two nights in a row of Japanese food...I think I've had my quota for the week! After supper we went to Target where I got another addition for my house. I now have two more seats in my living room, and a storage ottoman.
My house is starting to come together, slowly but surely.
Well, that's about it for now. I've got to start gearing up for yet another work week. I tell ya, the fun never stops.
Until next time...FELIZ DIA DE PAPA (in honor of my Pops, who is in Mexico on Father's Day)
