WEDDING SHOWER #1

We had Wedding Shower #1 for my brother and Shannon this weekend. It was loads of fun! My aunt and uncle hosted an engagement open house. However, instead of "come-and-go" it was more like "come-and-stay." We had a great time, though. I went over early in the afternoon to help my aunt prepare the food. We had honey-baked ham on rolls, chicken salad on croissants, cheese trays, fruit and veggie trays, mixed nuts, brownies, and more. I ate from about 2:30-10:00, almost non-stop. I would make a sandwich, eat a sandwich, make a sandwich, eat a sandwich. The happy couple got some great gifts...kinda makes me want to get married...kinda...not really, though. The summer is just flying away and the wedding will be here before we know it.
