Today was not fun. It has been quite a busy week. I'm covering for a co-worker who's on vacation so that means double the work load. Now, I certainly do not mind helping out this particular co-worker because he definitely deserves a vacation. I know the importance of taking vacation because for almost my entire first year, I never felt like I could take off. It was such a huge hassle to take off, that it wasn't worth all the trouble! So, I didn't want my co-worker to feel that way.
There must have been something in the air today (besides a bunch of pollen) because several people in the office had horrible attitudes today. Now, I'm not saying I'm the most pleasant person in the world, but I think I'm at least civil to others. You may think otherwise, who knows? I just wanted to stay in my hole and not have to deal with the craziness. Ha, fat chance of that happening.
Then, about 4:00 (let me remind you that we close at 4:30) a huge issue arose that I had to take care of. That's not what anyone wants to happen at 4:00 on Friday afternoon, especially if it might involve worker's comp.
I'm also thinking that I should get a part-time job to earn some extra money. Anybody have any good ideas?
Well, enough blogging about absolutely nothing.
