HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAMAW

This has been quite a busy weekend. Friday night wasn't so bad. I was so tired that after supper with the Pops, I fell asleep pretty early. Now, the busyness begins. Saturday morning, I had to go in to work. Working on a Saturday is just plain ole NOT fun!!!! After I finished working, it was off to Target to find my grandmother a birthday present, then to the Dollar Tree for decorations for her party.

That evening, the whole family piled in the truck and headed to Jackson. My grandmother was celebrating her 90th birthday!!!! Tons of family met at Catfish Cabin for supper and celebration. Now, since I can't eat fried food, that put a little damper on my excitement for Catfish Cabin. I ordered hamburger steak, which was basically a big ole hamburger with no bun or toppings. With enough A1 Sauce, it was edible but not great. It seemed, though, that my grandmother thoroughly enjoyed herself.

Sunday, was church day as usual. In the summertime, I have been treating myself to doughnut holes from Sam's Doughnuts. It's the BEST doughnut shop I've ever been to. This is usually the reason my stomach starts hurting right about time for church to start. But, it's worth it....kinda. After church, Harry D and Shannon went and picked up Lenny's for all of us. We ate lunch, then moved a ton of books from my dad's old office to his new office. My dad has a TON of books.

I still managed to squeeze in a Sunday afternoon nap! It doesn't really feel like I've had a weekend, but that's how it goes sometimes :/.
