WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR ME TO UPDATE?

I know, I know...it's been forever since I've updated. Well, all that's changing tonight. Here's a recap of my life this past week.

Last Friday night, two of my friends from Jackson came into town. It was Jame Thomas's birthday, so we celebrated in style. First off was supper at Pei Wei. If you're not familiar with Pei Wei, it's a P.F. Chang's Bistro. Pretty much, same food as P.F. Chang's but a much more casual atmosphere and a lot cheaper!!! Taylor and I split the Mongolian Beef with brown rice and it was delicious. We decided to split a dish because there was definitely more eating planned for the evening.

After Pei Wei, we were off to the Saucer. Taylor and I convinced James Thomas to join the UFO Club, so now we're all members. At the Saucer we had a great time with beer, chips and queso, soft pretzels, and live music. I had the beer that was on sale (there is always one beer on sale each day) and another one that tasted just like apple juice. I didn't take any pictures, but Taylor and James Thomas both got a couple. I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a copy sometime.

When we got home, we visited for a little while, then Taylor and JT headed back to Big J. I went to bed, only to wake up the next morning with a horrible summertime cold. I blame my co-worker, Datrin, since he had it earlier in the week. I was in the bed all day Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I don't really remember much from those days so I'm going to pretend they didn't exist. The rest of the week, I've gone to work during the day and pretty much come home and crashed. I also had a bit of laryngitis with this cold. Unfortunately, I've sounded like a cross between a boy going through puberty, a frog, and an old lady chain smoker all week.

Today, my voice is coming back and I'm feeling better. A weekend of rest and hopefully I'll be like a brand new person!!!!

On a side note, my parents return from Lake J tomorrow. Please pray for safe travels for them.

Until next time...DEATH TO SUMMERTIME COLDS
