QA Survey

This past week at work, we've had our annual Quality Assurance (QA) Survey. This is where the state comes in and audits a sample of our services. They choose several individuals we support and check all of his/her financial records, daily notes, nursing records, behavior services, etc. They also review every personnel and training file for any employee hired since the last survey and a sample of tenured employees. The last two years we have scored really well and hope to do well again this year. I feel like Support Solutions is a GREAT agency and truly believe in the work we do.

For those who don't know, I work for a company that provides supported living, personal assistance, and other services to mentally challenged adults. It is such a unique industry and there is NEVER a dull moment.

Now, I'm ready for the audit to get completed and for life to settle down for a little while.

On another totally random note, I have hired a company to come in every two weeks and do some housecleaning. This is the absolute best money I will ever spend. It is so nice to come home on Friday afternoon and have a very clean house for the weekend!!! If anyone is looking for a house cleaner, anything from a one-time deep clean to a regular cleaning schedule, I highly recommend the Cleaning Professionals.
