CLAIRE ELIZABETH DURBIN

After a looooong day of waiting, Baby Claire finally made her entrance into the world...but, not without a little help. As you know from the previous posts, Dr. Tsaltas came and broke Shannon's water pretty early this morning. After about 7 or 8 hours of labor, not much was progressing. Baby Claire was stuck (don't you love my medical terms), so she had to be delivered by C-Section. She finally made it out, and baby and mother are doing great. For more information, go to www.chatterwithclaire.blogspot.com or click on the link for The Durbins from this page. Here are a few pictures.

Mom admiring Baby ClaireAli got to hold her new baby cousin with a little help from daddy:Then, it was my turn to teach her a thing or two (I think I'm explaining to her the greatness of Memphis blue as opposed to Tennessee orange, haha)
Until next time...HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY CLAIRE
