IT'S BEEN A LONG WHILE

If you're an avid reader of my blog (I'm sorry you're so bored), I'm finally updating again. Life, as I know it, is treating me ok these days. I have SO much on my mind right now! I couldn't even begin to write about everything.

Two of my friends, Angela and Kristi, had birthdays these past couple of weeks. We had a girls night at my place. We ate chicken rotel and had margaritas and watched the season premier of Grey's Anatomy. Yeah for girls night!!!!

Here's some exciting news: I bought a new (to me) car. It's a 2005 Honda Accord.
It's a great little car, but it's taking a LOT of getting used to. I haven't driven a car this small since I was 16. I've also never owned a 2-door vehicle!

This vehicle has built-in XM radio, so that will be fun...once I get it activated.

Here's a peek at the seats.

I will miss the big red truck like crazy. However, I will NOT miss feeding it (aka buying gas). At least it's still close...my dad bought it. I figure if I really have an urging to drive it, I can borrow it from my Pops :).

More exciting news: I got a semi-new purse today. If you know me at all, you know I'm a purse
fanatic. I bought some Memphis State fabric and had my friend Kristi sew it into a long strip. She then, looped it through my purse. I love it...thanks Kristi!

In other news, work is going ok. We just completed our annual survey and are awaiting the results. I think we did pretty well in most areas. If you're the praying type, I have a couple of prayer requests. My brother and sister-in-law could use some prayer right now. My sister-in-law is having some health issues. Also, a co-worker was in a wreck about a week ago. She's ok, but her son had to be air lifted to the Med. He came out of surgery ok and is now at Le Bonheur children's hospital. I know she could use some extra lifting up, as well.

Until next time...CIAO
